"I took this crocodile photo as we cruised the Yellow Water wetlands. He was about 8 feet [2.4 meters] long.

"I don't know why he had his mouth open, but that's how we spotted him—we saw this flash of orange. It was really cool.

"I was apprehensive before the cruise, thinking, I'm supposed to come up with wildlife photos in an hour and a half on a boat?

"Wow, did we see a lot."
