Khon Masks
Traditionally worn in ceremonial dance, Khon masks require the maker to master carving, sculpting, painting, lacquering, and gilding. Each takes about three days to make.
Celadon
This high-fired stoneware with a cracked-glaze surface originated in the northern Thai city of Chiang Mai. Widely available, but for quality go to Thai Celadon at 8/8 New Rachadapisek Road, off Sukhumvit Road.
