What Is Global Warming?
Our planet traps the sun's warmth through what's known as the "greenhouse effect," without which Earth's climate would be unlivable. But humans, mainly by burning fossil fuels, have released chemicals into the atmosphere that intensify this effect and have caused the planet to warm dramatically, disrupting ecosystems worldwide.
