About the NGS Library

The National Geographic Society Library and its staff of 13 assist the Society’s employees in their quest for the raw material of all NGS products: information. The Library’s role is to select and filter material, whether in electronic or print form, for the use of the staff; to help them use print and electronic resources effectively; and to help our members and the public use the Society’s research collections.
