BIOMAPER II: Bio-Optical Multifrequency Acoustical and Physical Environmental Recorder
>> USE:
The BIOMAPER II will be towed behind the ship from time to time.
>> INSTRUMENTS:
It includes ten acoustic transducers (five aimed up and five down), a video recorder, and various other optical systems and environmental sensors.
>> DATA:
Data measured by BIOMAPER II is sent to a computer aboard the ship.
