More vivid than ever in HD, Wild Chronicles is a weekly half-hour magazine-style show connecting viewers to the pulse of the planet. Wild Chronicles reports from the vantage of those who have traversed the Earth, solved its scientific mysteries, and advocated for its protection. It offers rare access to and in-depth reporting on the state of the natural world. The stories focus on the work of researchers and explorers in the field (many supported by National Geographic grants) and cover natural history, science, adventure, culture, conservation, and environmental issues.

Wild Chronicles is presented by WLIW21 in association with WNET.org. The program is made possible by National Geographic Mission Programs, which provides grant support for pioneering research and field expeditions through programs such as the Committee for Research and Exploration, the Expeditions Council, the Conservation Trust, and the Explorers Program.
