Photography Workshops: On Assignment in Tuscany
These workshops follow a format similar to the Santa Fe program, with morning critique sessions and afternoons visiting varied scenic locations for photo shoots.

In September/October, spend a week in and around Siena, a lovely Tuscan city steeped in history. Stay at Siena’s Hotel Garden, an elegant 17th-century villa.

In April, spend a week in and around the medieval village of San Quirico near Pienza. Stay at the charming Casanova Hotel in the Tuscan Hills.

The digital-only workshops closely follow the same itinerary as our other workshops, with additional instruction on downloading, saving, organizing, and archiving images, and cropping, sizing, and manipulating images on the computer. All digital photographers need to bring their own SLR digital camera, laptop computer, and editing software.
 ITINERARY: 7 DAYS

Day 1 Siena, Italy
Arrive in Siena and check into the historic Hotel Garden, an elegant 17th-century villa located on the north side of the city. This evening, gather for a welcome reception, dinner, and orientation.
