Karin Muller

Ten years ago, National Geographic writer and filmmaker Karin Muller set off on a seven-month journey across Vietnam from the Mekong Delta to the Chinese border. She traveled by motorcycle, bus, train, boat, and water buffalo, hitchhiking and trekking. The result? A television documentary called "Hitchhiking Vietnam" described by the Boston Globe as "a breathtakingly sensitive personal testament" and a book by the same title that the L.A. Times praised as "warm, insightful, and beautifully written."
