National Geographic Museum is now accepting reservations for group visits—school groups, alumni groups, senior groups, social groups, scout groups, archaeology and history buffs, and any other kind of group you can imagine! If you have more than 10 people, you can take advantage of our special group discounts and benefits.

How to Reserve a Group Visit

Call our Group Sales Office at +1 202 857 7281. The office is open Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. ET. Or you may fill out an online reservation form, and our Group Sales Office will contact you. Please allow up to 48 business hours for a reply.
All reservation requests are subject to availability of exhibition tickets.
Receipt of payment and completed letter of agreement guarantees your reservation.

Preparing for Your Visit

Terra Cotta Warriors is a self-guided exhibition. Plan to spend at least an hour in the exhibition. Strollers, large backpacks or bags, cameras, food, and beverages are prohibited within the exhibition. Please plan accordingly.

Additional detailed visiting information, including arrival process and bus information, will be sent to you as part of your group reservation confirmation packet.

School Groups

One adult chaperone is required for every ten students. Appropriate behavior is expected at all times. Please remind students not to touch the objects or lean on display cases. Please note that no lunch space is available at National Geographic. To download education materials, visit the For Teachers section of this Web site.

Payment, Cancellation, and Refund Policy

A $3 handling fee will be included with each reservation. All groups must pay in full upon confirmation of your reservation, with the exception of groups with more than 50 members. These groups will owe a 50 percent deposit with the balance due 30 days prior to your visit date. Please make all checks payable to: National Geographic Museum and send to ATTN: National Geographic Ticket Office/TCW, 1145 17th Street NW, Washington, DC 20036.

If you wish to make changes in the number of tickets in your reservation please contact the Group Sales Office as soon as possible. Due to capacity limitations, we make no guarantees that we will be able to accommodate your request. No changes to your final ticket count may be made less than 30 days prior to your visit date.

No refunds will be made for cancellations made fewer than 30 days prior to your visit date. Reservations cancelled more than 30 days in advance of your visit date are refundable in full.
