A Special Exhibition at National Geographic Museum

National Geographic Museum is excited to be the final stop on the two-year U.S. tour of Terra Cotta Warriors. Whether you live in Washington, D.C., or are just passing through, come visit us for this special exhibition and the many other exhibitions and events we host all year long.
Terra Cotta Warriors is a self-guided exhibition and will take approximately an hour to view. Floor staff and volunteer docents are available to answer questions. Please consider purchasing an audio tour if you are interested in a guided experience.

Strollers, large backpacks or bags, cameras, food, and beverages are prohibited within the exhibition. Please plan accordingly. A checkroom is available for your convenience. Please refrain from cell phone use and step outside or into the lobby area if you need to place or receive calls. Photography with cameras, cell phones or other personal devices is strictly prohibited.
National Geographic is convenient to two Metro stops, Farragut North (Red line) and Farragut West (Orange/Blue lines). Several bus lines also serve the area. Visit www.wmata.com for more information.
Limited metered street parking is available near National Geographic. Several parking garages are located within a few blocks of National Geographic. View Google search results for nearby parking garages.
On weekdays, the National Geographic staff-and-member-only cafeteria is open for lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. If you are a member of National Geographic, please present your member card or member Terra Cotta Warriors ticket to the security guard for admittance.

National Geographic Museum welcomes all visitors and strives to make our public spaces, exhibitions, and programs accessible to all.
The galleries of National Geographic Museum are wheelchair accessible. The ramp to access Terra Cotta Warriors is located on M Street, just east of 17th Street, at the main entrance for this exhibition. A limited number of complimentary wheelchairs are available for visitor use on a first-come, first-served basis.
Transcripts of the audio tour are available upon request from ticketing and visitor service representatives.
Large-print abridged exhibition text is available upon request from ticketing and visitor service representatives. A touch station featuring a reproduction of a life-size terra cotta warrior will be available to visitors, with and without an exhibition ticket. This area can be accessed after exiting the exhibition or by entering the National Geographic Store at 1145 17th Street NW and proceeding through to the gallery space. Audio tours are available for purchase, however, this tour does not include comprehensive audio descriptions.
