I’ve been there in many different times of my life, and when I go back, I always discover something new. It’s my stammlokal, as they say in Germany, my hangout.

The last time my husband and I were there, we rented a little apartment across from a park in Place des Vosges. I would take a cup of tea and sit in the park and read. It was so peaceful, and everyone was so friendly. The atmosphere there—I felt loved.
