The retired industrial manager from Wilmington, Vermont, flew to Marrakech to take part in a photo workshop sponsored by American Photo magazine. “I love to take photographs,” says Angell, “but Morocco presents a challenge because religion there prohibits photography of people. This leaves buildings and cats—so I took both.”
