Rossi had to race to keep up with the action at the Royal Tyrrell
Museum of Palaeontology in Drumheller, Alberta, Canada. The
museum has one of the largest collections of dinosaur bones in the
world. They outfit guests with picks and brushes and invite you to
take part in excavations. Minutes after I got there with my family,
folks uncovered an Albertosaurus, and then they discovered another
one! Between digs, Rossi boned up on his photography, mining
the Spielbergan drama of life-size dinosaur models. I aimed to
catch Adam, my son, and his friend Conner before they became
dinosaur food, says Rossi, a financial analyst in Vancouver, British
Columbia.
