Merit Prize: Chantelle Rytter

Chantelle Rytter was the first person to arrive at the top of an Atlanta skyscraper on Valentine's Day morning. Rytter, who works in event planning, enjoys photographing from balconies. "The shifts in the weather and light over a terrific distance satisfies my eye like watching the ocean," says Rytter. "The fog blanket is always my favorite. It only happens a few times a year and not for very long. It is a magical perspective on a familiar scene. It's clearly Atlanta, but Atlanta dreaming."
