Merit Prize: Ken Demme, Bradenton, Florida

When Ken Demme recently remarried, he traveled to Italy with his new bride. During the honeymoon, the couple stayed with a friend in Milan. "On a weekend, we were invited to take a trip with them to Lucca, which is located in Tuscany," says Demme. "After a Sunday midday meal, I started to take some photographs of members of the family. This was the best of the bunch." Demme is a retired advertising art director and TV commercial producer.
