National Geographic Channel Asia Appoints Creative Director

Singapore, September 14, 1998

National Geographic Channel Asia, launched July 1, 1998, has appointed Jean Candiotte as its Creative Director.

Candiotte is responsible for the on-air promotion of National Geographic Channel Asia, including managing the look of the Channel and the production of on-air promotional material. She has a strong background in promotion and production and has produced for MTV, Star TV, and MGM Gold Networks.

Candiotte is also a PROMAX Award winner and has served on the PROMAX Asia committee. Prior to joining the National Geographic Channel, Candiotte was the Creative Director of MGM Gold Networks in Hong Kong, and previous to that she was a senior producer at Star TV.

National Geographic Channel Asia brings to viewers the kind of high-caliber programs that National Geographic Television has been renowned for creating for 33 years. The Channel’s programming covers natural history, science, wildlife, adventure, and peoples of the world. It features compelling stories and spectacular images.
