    How To Print Our Maps

Xpedition maps were designed for printing and reproducing. We encourage you to make unlimited copies for personal or educational use. (Commercial use is prohibited.) Printing the maps is simple, as long as you follow a few guidelines:

  • Most systems automatically print in the “portrait,” or vertical, mode. Go to “Page Setup” and set your page for the “landscape,” or horizontal, mode.

  • Select a printable page-size format by choosing either “Enlarge” or “PDF” beneath the map on the screen.

  • To use the PDF format, you will need the free Adobe Acrobat Reader plug-in, which can be downloaded by selecting “Adobe Acrobat Reader” below the map. PDFs print more crisply and can be copied into word processing documents. Your printable map will pop up in a new window.

  • Click the Print button in the pop-up window to begin printing.
