Just who are the 2010 Adventurers of the Year? Click here to find out.

We just announced the 2010 Adventurers of the Year, each selected for his or her extraordinary achievement in exploration, conservation, and adventure sports. Their feats are truly inspring—sailing across the Pacific in a plastic-bottle boat, trekking the Amazon from source to sea, tracking the world's most mysterious animal migrations, and more. And for the second time, you can vote for the People's Choice Adventurer of Year.

But we know that you have had a banner year of adventure, too—one where you completed a hard-won adventure goal, experienced an amazing destination, or helped give back to your local community in an adventurous way. Or maybe you just had a crazy adrenaline rush jumping from an airplane, like this guy—and have the photo to prove it.

Tell us about your best adventure of 2010 in the comments area below. We want to know where you went, what adventurous thing you did, and why it tops your list as the best adventure of the year.

What's more, selected posts will be featured on this blog. We will email you directly to get more details and photos. We can't wait to read your stories!
