Each month we add few new photographers to our incredible @NatGeoAdventure Instagram feed. Here are a few of our more recent additions. Be sure to give them a follow!
Photo: @jodymacdonaldphoto // While @captainlizclark keeps watch one way, her trusty sidekick Amelia the cat watches the other. If you don’t know who Liz is, you should. She set sail in 2006 on her 40ft sailboat to explore and #surf the remote corners of the globe. So far she’s surpassed 18,000 nautical miles sailing solo and is still going. When she’s not surfing and exploring, she raises environmental awareness through writing and photography. This past year she was nominated for the coveted National Geographic Adventurer of the Year award. Keep inspiring us all to live the dream Liz! #getinspired
Photo: @krystlejwright // woohoo! @natgeoadventure hits the 100K followers and is on a high like @hpitocco who is flying at high altitude above the heart of the Karakoram Range in northern Pakistan. We had to fly with oxygen bottles as we ascended to heights of 7000m and more which would cause hypoxia if we were not careful. However it was all worth it to see the beauty of the Karakoram as it extended as far as the eye could see. Thank you to the followers for sharing the love of adventure. #paragliding
Photo by @shonephoto (Robbie Shone) – A glacier cave explorer descends into a fluted shaft deep inside a moulin within the Aletsch glacier in Switzerland. With a length of 23km (15 miles) and covering more than 120 square km (43 square miles), the Aletsch glacier is the largest glacial system in the European Alps.
