Nepali Adventurers Who Climbed Everest, Paraglided Down, Kayaked to Sea Revisited

Last night ABC News’s Nightline featured the story of Sano Babu Sunuwar and Lakpa Tsheri Sherpa, our 2012 People’s Choice Adventurers of the Year.  The two Nepali friends completed The Ultimate Descent by climbing Everest, paragliding down, and kayaking to the Indian Ocean. It was a source-to-sea expedition beyond compare. And they did it without sponsors or a support team.

Babu says, “Without adventure, you are not feeling the real life.” We couldn’t agree more.

Read our story, see photos from their expedition, or watch their People’s Choice acceptance video. Then vote for the next People’s Choice Adventurer of the Year.
