Mark Strauss

Mark Strauss is the senior science correspondent at National Geographic News, where he covers topics including paleontology, space, physics, and history. Prior to joining National Geographic, he was a senior editor at the magazines Smithsonian and Foreign Policy. In 2007, he won a National Magazine Award for General Excellence as the editor of the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists. Strauss is also a Chicago Cubs fan and hopes that advances in medical technology will extend his life long enough to see his team win the World Series.
