Jeffrey Tayler

Jeffrey Tayler has lived in Moscow since 1993. He is a contributing editor at The Atlantic and has traveled the world to report on a wide range of subjects for that magazine, as well as for National Geographic magazine, Foreign Policy, Condé Nast Traveler, The American Scholar, and Harper's Magazine, among other publications.

Six of his essays have been selected for The Best American Travel Writing series.

He is the author of seven books, including Facing the Congo, Angry Wind, and River of No Reprieve.
