Beatrice Mugnier

Born and raised in Chamonix, France, in the shadow of Mont Blanc, Beatrice Mugnier has spent her life in pursuit of adventure. Part of a family of mountain climbers, she followed in the footsteps of her grandfather, a professional mountain guide, when she left her nursing career three decades ago to begin leading Tour du Mont Blanc expeditions. An avid climber and accomplished skier, she is one the region’s premier hiking guides and spends the winter months as a ski instructor. Beatrice is quick to point out and identify Alpine flowers and wildlife along the trail, as well as historical details about the landscape’s role in World War II.
