Boniface Nkunda

Boniface Nkunda fell in love with nature while growing up on the slopes of Tanzania’s Mount Meru. After completing secondary school, Boniface became frustrated with the amount of litter in his town and decided to pursue a career in eco-tourism. He began working as a porter on Mount Kilimanjaro while pursuing a degree in wildlife and natural resource management. As a trip leader, Boniface guides visitors on walking safaris, hiking expeditions, and mountaineering trips throughout Tanzania. He enjoys nature documentaries and is passionate about the ecological importance of one of Tanzania’s less glamorous creatures—the dung beetle.
