Diego Pol


Paleontologist Diego Pol is head of the science department at the Egidio Feruglio paleontology museum in Argentina. He co-led the team that discovered the fossil of a titanosaur species in Patagonia that may have been the largest ever to walk the Earth. With more than 70 published papers, Diego is also known for the discovery of a number of other dinosaurs, such as Lorosuchus, Manidens, Glacialisaurus and Eoabelisaurus. He earned his doctorate at Columbia University in 2005 and worked at the American Museum of Natural History.
