John Hilton

Naturalist, Conservationist

Naturalist and conservationist John Hilton has dedicated his life to spending time in the African wilderness and sharing his experiences. John oversees the administration, human resourcing, finances, and logistics of National Geographic’s Okavango Wilderness Project. In addition to participating in field expeditions, he networks with government officials from the three countries in the Okavango River’s watershed to encourage protection of this fragile ecosystem.
