Born in Florence and a cum laude graduate in contemporary history, professional journalist Marco Ferri has been involved in culture and entertainment for more than 30 years. He has collaborated with National Geographic Italia, for which, among other things, he was associate co-producer of the documentary film Secrets of Florence (Firenze: Le Trame del Rinascimento). Marco has also written for the Giornale della Toscana and various newspapers and he has written books and scientific essays. He founded and directed Medicea, an interdisciplinary journal of medical studies. He directed communications for the Uffizi Gallery and the Polo Museale Fiorentino, and he conceived and curated the exhibition Una Volta Nella Vita: Treasures from the Archives and Libraries of Florence. In addition, Marco has created and organized numerous cultural events. He currently directs communications for the Franco Zeffirelli Foundation.
