HAVANA

Havana was the rendezvous point for ships arriving from Mexico, Honduras, and South America. Here they took on provisions of meat and fresh fruits and vegetables. The crews had a last fling before the ships were organized into a fleet for the long, exhausting, and dangerous voyage to Spain.
