Dominique Rissolo

Archaeologist, Scientist

Dominique Rissolo is an archaeologist and research scientist with the Center of Interdisciplinary Science for Art, Architecture, and Archaeology at the University of California, San Diego. He has extensive experience preserving heritage sites in the Americas and Europe, from ancient pyramids and medieval churches to long-forgotten shipwrecks. Dominique has also been collaborating with universities in Italy on various research projects. He lends support to National Geographic Society’s grantmaking activities, and was a member of the Genographic Project.
