Location: Santa Clara, Cuba
The type of lizard you see here is called an Allison’s Anole. This little guy is known for its vibrant colors. Upon leaving the Che Guevara Mausoleum in Cuba, I looked up a tall palm tree to see him showing off those lovely colors. Such a courageous, little creature. If not for my curiosity into what he was, I would not have taken the picture. I have learned to follow my curiosity. This has led me to go on numerous memorable adventures. I guess you could say that for me, exploration is the action I take on following my curiosity.

Location: Alabama Hills, California, USA
Finding this spot in Alabama Hills took a lot of scouting, some sweat, and tired feet. I know now that if I had not explored Alabama Hills that summer day, I never would have known that the rocky landscape and blazing light trails make this photo absolutely worth it. So, next time you feel uninspired, explore a little. You might surprise yourself with what you find.

Location: Eldorado, Colorado, USA
High above the river in Eldorado Canyon sits “Desdichado”. At the time of the first ascent in the 1980’s it was one of the hardest climbs in the country (5.13+). Over the past couple months, my friends and I have made over 10 trips up to the climb, each time getting closer to the send. Climber: Sam Dorsey.
