19th-Century Plantation Rum Punch

Coco Rita
Fill a 10-ounce glass with ice and add:
1 1/2 ounces Malibu Coconut rum
1/2 ounce of Mount Gay rum
Add a splash of cranberry juice
Top with margarita mix
Stir and add a squeeze lime

Pirates Painkiller
Fill a 10-ounce glass with ice and add:
1 1/2 ounces Pussers blue label rum
1 ounce Coco Lopez cream of coconut
1 ounce La Famosa or Goya pineapple juice
1 ounce Tropicana orange juice
Shake vigorously
Float five ounces of Grand Marnier
Dust liberally with fresh ground nutmeg

Funky Monkey
Blend half a ripe banana
3/4 an ounce butter scotch schnapps
1 ounce Emmets Irish cream
1 ounce Leroux Créme de banana
1/2 ounce Cruzan dark rum
1/2 ounce of simple syrup or one table spoon of sugar
Add ice, but be sure that the liquid level is slightly higher than the ice level
Blend until smooth

Mango-Strawberry Colada
Blend 1 and 1/2 ounces dark rum
1 splash coconut cream
2 ounces mango pulp
2 ounces strawberries
Add ice
Blend until thick and smooth

Turtle Punch
Add to a 10-ounce glass with ice:
2 ounces dark rum
2 ounces passion fruit syrup
4 ounces sweet-and-sour mix
Add a splash of lime juice
Add a dash of bitters
Shake well

Fill a 6-ounce glass with ice and add:
1/2 ounce Myers rum
1 ounce Appleton gold rum
1/2 ounce Appleton white rum
2 ounces orange juice
2 ounces pineapple juice
Mix well

Pickled Parrot Mudslide
Blend 1 ounce rum cream
1 ounce vodka
1 ounce Tia Maria coffee liquor
1 ripe banana
Fill with ice
Blend well

Fill a 6-ounce glass with ice and add:
1 part firewater
2 parts silver fox
3 parts Jose Cuervo Margarita Mix
A dash of bitters
Top with a wedge of lime

Strawberry Pumcake
Blend 2 1/2 ounces Bailey’s Irish Cream
1 1/2 ounces Amaretto
1 1/2 ounces white rum
1 ounce grenadine
1/2 ounce margarita mix
1 ounce of orange juice
1 ounce of pineapple juice
A dash of créme de coconut

J.V.D. Sunshine
Blend 2 ounces of white rum
A dash of amaretto
3 ounces of orange juice
1 1/2 ounces of Coco Lopez

Co Natural
1 1/2 ounces dark rum
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 1/2 ounces pineapple juice
1 1/2 ounces fresh or frozen coconut cream
1 small scoop of coconut ice cream
Blend to a milk shake consistency
Sprinkle cinnamon on top

19th-Century Plantation Rum Punch
1 1/2 ounces of dark rum
Juice from one lime
1/2 an ounce sugar syrup (simple syrup)
2 ounces fresh citrus or passion fruit
2 dashes angostura bitters
Stir and add ice to fill a six-ounce glass
Sprinkle fresh, grated nutmeg on top
Add a sprig of mint or cinnamon bark
