Meet Six Rescued Rhinos That Survived Poaching

Hear the incredible recovery stories of six rhinos who were rescued from poachers in Black Bean Productions' poignant short film. Caregivers at the Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre (HESC) in South Africa recount the trauma several of the victims endured before arriving at the facility. Two of the animals were dehorned by poachers and had to undergo dozens of facial reconstruction surgeries. The other four were brought in after poachers killed their mothers. See how they are being cared for now, and meet one of their new companions, Lammie the lamb, who has helped the orphans bond during the rehab process.

Read about a group raising awareness about saving the surviving rhinos in Africa.
