Read "America's Best: The ADVENTURE 100" in the March/April 2000 issue.

  Adventure Forum

For our first annual countdown of the hundred best adventures in the U.S., we drafted an all-star team of outdoors writers—experts on climbing, paddling, skiing, and a dozen other pursuits—to nominate, then rate, their all-time favorites and cutting-edge classics.

In the last online edition of ADVENTURE, we posted the top 100 trips in no particular order and asked you to vote for your favorite. As you can see from our dueling top tens, the writers and readers had somewhat different preferences, which got us wondering...

What's your favorite U.S. adventure? And what do you think of the ADVENTURE 100 rankings? What did we miss?
