"We were riding along after making the descent down to the White Rim and came around a corner and saw this. I sent Shidan Towfiq, my biking partner, to haul the bike down to that point.
He's a damn good mountain biker, and even he was nervous to ride out there.
"One of the things I like about mountain biking is solitude and, actually, there weren't that many people on the White Rim. You feel how big it is and how small you are, which really enhanced the ride."
