Moab's Greatest Ride

A group of nurses rests at Murphys Hogback, a popular vantage point.

"We're at Murphys Hogback, about halfway through the route. This is a group of nurses from San Francisco. We got to the top of this climb and rested and chatted with them a bit. They offered us a beer, but given the amount of miles we had to get in, that wouldn't have been all that helpful.

"We saw the most people at this point. It's such an obvious point to stop—it's the highest point and it's beautiful. And you have to do a big climb to get there, so everyone's stoked and wants to rest."
