"This old carriage track is the path that many climbers take to access the various routes in the Gunks. Most people will bump into familiar faces here; and the interaction is very friendly and relaxed. Our climbing guide Dawes Strickler said his sheep dog was an unofficial member of the preserve. Our posse had trad gear and bouldering pads to meet the day's challenges." —Contributing Photographer Alex di Suvero
