Which Animal Would You Pick for Nat Geo’s Cover?
Is it the koala, snow owl, Indian peafowl, or another critter? You decide.
National Geographic's April issue has ten different covers, each featuring a stunning animal from Photo Ark—Nat Geo's project with photographer Joel Sartore to document the world's 12,000 captive species. So far, he's visited 40 countries and photographed more than 6,000 species with the studio lighting and black-and-white backgrounds that give the collection its iconic look.
Photo Ark aims to inspire people not just to care about the natural world, but also to help protect these animals for future generations.
