THE BRIEF
Our challenge is to story tell around initiatives that the partnership is supporting, bringing both that good work and greater awareness of the region to the wider world.
In doing so, we seek to champion the local voices working to elevate the lives and opportunities for communities living along the Okavango River System.

SOLUTION
In one of the partnership’s most recent stories, rural villages in Botswana struggle to retain teachers who come from urban places, meaning children rarely get to forge that special inspirational relationship with their teacher.
Through a suite of digital content, we covered the story of one teacher who’s involved in “Educator Expeditions,” an initiative designed to teach teachers about local culture and wildlife, and give them a point of connection with their students.
