Peru’s tourism board stated that socio-political unrest has had an impact on its tourism sector since December 2022, resulting in economic losses and affecting Peru’s international reputation.
As they work towards a political consensus, the tourism board wants to ease the collective mind of the public, generating confidence within sceptical travellers, inspiring them to add Peru to their bucket list.
