Photographer Duncan Wright's work focuses on the histories, communities, and everyday moments experienced through people and places, like this bee landing on a lime in his drink in Hamilton Hill, Western Australia. "I fished it out and placed it on there, watching as it slowly came to before letting it fly off, perhaps to another lime in someone else's drink on that warm summer afternoon," he tells National Geographic. The image is from his debut monograph, Dancing Unconscious.
