Peace Memorial Park

The remains of the Hiroshima Prefecture Industrial Promotion Hall are one of the few buildings still standing after the United States dropped an atomic bomb on the city during World War II. Today, the ruins are a part of the Peace Memorial Park, which honors the more than 140,000 people who were killed by the bomb.
