A home perches precariously atop a ruined embankment on Mousuni Island in West Bengal, India. The island is in the Sundarbans, a region in the Bay of Bengal that has experienced an increase in natural disasters such as cyclones, monsoons, and rising sea levels as a result of climate change. The destruction has impacted the millions of residents in the region—many of whom rely on local agriculture for employment—forcing some to migrate elsewhere.
