The majority of the country's population is Muslim, although there is a small population of Hindu and Buddhist worshippers as well. Eid al-Fitr is the multiday celebration that follows Ramadan, and like many other Muslim countries, Bangladesh observes it with prayer, family gatherings, gift giving, and festive feasts.
