Alpine Climbers, Aiguille du Midi

This Month in Photo of the Day: Travel and Adventure Photos

I captured these adventurers after a warm and toasty ride up to the Aiguille du Midi (in the French Alps) on the Téléphérique to 3,842 meters. I was short on breath just walking around on the platforms of the station (the buildings are like something out of a James Bond film, perched on the edge of a gut-wrenching void), and these guys had climbed up!
