Table for Three
In Masai Mara National Reserve, a trio of cheetahs gathers atop an elevated rock, hoping to spot their first meal of the day at sunrise. Cheetahs in Masai Mara, a nearly 600-square-mile slice of the Greater Mara Ecosystem, will find these raised platforms like rocks—and even safari vehicles—to give themselves a better vantage point as they search for food. This crew wasn’t entirely willing to share this prime lookout—they wouldn’t make room for a fourth cheetah to join them, writes Your Shot photographer Ali Saifaldeen.
