Winter Wolf

Wolves are becoming more rare in Finland, as a result of hunting and culling programs. So seeing this male on a cold morning was "magical," says Your Shot photographer Bernt Østhus. Wolves are "a rare sight in the winter time," he says. "They are more commonly photographed in the summertime." This photo was submitted to Your Shot, our photo community on Instagram.
