A Line of Fire
At the edge of Wedge Pond in Alberta, Canada’s sprawling Kananaskis Country—“K-Country” to locals—morning coaxes the sunlight forward over the ridgeline of the Canadian Rockies. “We waited patiently in the biting cold … for this phenomenon of glowing highlight [to appear] on the top of the mountain,” photographer Saleem Moopen writes. “It was a spectacular sight and worth the wait.” This photo was submitted to Your Shot, our photo community on Instagram.
