Flooding in Ohio

This year has been a historic season for flooding throughout the Great Lakes region of North America—primarily due to heavy snowmelt pouring into the lakes, which was followed by a prolonged rain season. Port Clinton, a summer destination for vacationers in Ohio, was affected by the flooding that seriously damaged businesses and homes.
