Portrait by the River

Baba Vijay Nund stands for a portrait on the banks of the Ganges River in the ancient Indian city of Varanasi. The 87-year-old bears spiritual markings called tilaka, which are made using various materials, including ash and earth from the banks of the sacred Ganges. About 82 percent of Indians are Hindu.
