Cold Mountain

A mountaineer packs up camp at 18,000 feet in the Himalayas while Manaslu, the world's eighth tallest mountain, looms in the background. The group's goal was to to make the first ascent of the south pillar of Panbari. "We didn’t succeed, but we learned a lot about ourselves," says Your Shot photographer Clint Helander.
